About Sally Corey
Sally Corey has been a designer and stylist in the home furnishings
industry for many years. While a fine arts major in college, she
learned canvas embroidery; later while living in Maine, she continued
designing and wrote two books of needlepoint design.
During a holiday in Paris she visited the Musee Guimet and was
inspired by the colors and imagery of the Tibetan textiles and
Buddhist Mandalas she saw there. In the intervening years, her fine
art training, embroidery and textile industry experience, and
fascination with the Mandala form have converged in her creation of
these unique tapestry works.
The tapestries are embroidered with the finest quality yarns on
finest quality canvas.
